Knowledge, professionalism and experience form the basis for successful treatment.

Manual medicine represents a holistic approach to establishing and maintaining physical balance, using precise and targeted manual techniques to address myofascial tension, soft tissue mobility and the overall functionality of the body.

During the first visit, we perform a functional assessment that includes a discussion about general well-being, physical demands and lifestyle, an assessment of posture and movement patterns, joint mobility and muscle tension, as well as an evaluation of body symmetry and functional limitations. We also assess whether there are any potential limitations to performing the treatments.

Manual medicine treatments include manual relaxation techniques, myofascial release, trigger point techniques, stretching and mobilisation techniques, as well as individual programmes designed to promote relaxation and improve mobility. Our approach is focused on prevention, relaxation, regeneration and the overall well-being of the individual.

The services are intended to support health and well-being by promoting relaxation, functional balance of the body and improved well-being, and do not include diagnostic procedures or independent medical treatment.

MOGY therapists work at eight locations throughout Slovenia and are professionals in the field of manual medicine. They come from countries of the former Soviet Union (Russia, Belarus and Ukraine), where they completed medical school and pursued numerous additional specialisations and professional training programmes. In Slovenia, their medical education has been assessed and recognised through decisions issued by the ENIC-NARIC centre, the state authority responsible for the evaluation of education, operating under the Ministry of Education.

Andrej Kotov

Andrej Kotov has been working at MO-GY Ljubljana since 2009.

In 1994, he graduated from Minsk Medical School and in 1995 he specialized in neurology. He completed his specialization in manual medicine in 1997. He continued his education in the field of neurology and received his master’s degree in 2005 (he holds the highest – third level of specialization).

Sergej Fedorov

Sergei Fedorov has been working in MO-GY Maribor since 2008 and in MO-GY Murska Sobota since 2010.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and specialized in neurology in 1986. In 1989, he specialized in the field of manual medicine and in 2004 completed his specialization in soft manual medicine techniques. He continued his education in the field of neurology and received his master’s degree in 2004 (he holds the highest – third level of specialization).

Genadij Filipov

Genadij FIlipov has been working at MO-GY Nova Gorica since 2003 and at MO-GY Izola since 2016.

He graduated from medical school in 1981 and specialized in orthopedics in 1982. In 1991, he specialized in the field of manual medicine, and in 1995 he completed the third, highest level of specialization in the field of orthopedics.

Arkady Yanuskiewicz

Arkady Yanuskiewicz works at the MO-GY Nova Gorica and Koper offices.

He graduated from the medical faculty in Ukraine in 1987 and specialized in manual medicine in 1993. In 1994, he completed his specialization in neurology and in 1995 in orthopedics and traumatology. He has accumulated work experience in different parts of the world, and since 2012 he has been active in Slovenia.

Vladimir Fedorov

Vladimir Fedorov has been working at MO-GY offices in Maribor and Murska Sobota since 2017.

In 2014, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Belarusian State University in Minsk and in 2015 specialized in neurology. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a specialist neurologist at the neurology department of the Metropolitan Clinical Hospital in Minsk, Belarus. During his employment, he was educated at the postgraduate medical academy and acquired special knowledge in the fields of neurology, manual medicine and movement disorders.

Dimitrij Gaidukevich

Dimitrij Gaidukevich has been working at MO-GY offices in Nova Gorica and Koper since 2021.

In 2014, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Belarusian State University in Minsk and in 2015 specialized in orthopedy. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a specialist orthopedist at the orthopedic department of the Metropolitan Clinical Hospital in Minsk, Belarus. During his employment, he was educated at the postgraduate medical academy and acquired special knowledge in the fields of neurology, manual medicine and movement disorders.

Vasilij Banin

Doctor of Medicine Vasilij Banin has been working at the MOGY centres in Novo mesto and Trzin since 2022, having previously worked at the MOGY practice in Ljubljana from 2000. He is a physician with international professional training acquired in Russia, with a medical degree recognised (nostrified) by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana.

Roman Burdeniuk has been working at the MOGY centres in Maribor, Celje and Zagorje ob Savi since 2022. He is a therapist with international professional training acquired in Ukraine.
